This trimmer is great for the price and performance,I like it very much.You don't have a bunch of attachments to keep up with and I am always on the go don't have time to hunt for the attachments.Am pleased with the price and will be back.

howdy y'all,
the actual item does it's job well. i would rate it a 3 on it's own. it feels good in the hand, cuts easily and cleans easily, too. i don't trim very short, so that hasn't been a problem for me like it has been for others.
the reason i rated this item at ONE is cuz the blister pack had NO indication of how to open it. it was sealed TIGHTLY and the plastic was quite brittle. i finally took a knife and the package out in the yard and sliced it open. the plastic shattered when the cut neared one edge and i was struck by many bits of sharp plastic.
i can't recommend anyone buying this item while the blister pack remains so remarkably dangerous to open.
i presume they hoped any shoplifters would be covered in blood ... but they forgot to account for actual buyers. [*sigh ...*]

I am speaking from the first few weeks of use. The trimmer delivered exactly what I was looking for. I can use my own rechargeable batteries and don't have to worry about plugs or replacing silly chargers and rechargeable units I can't replace. It works as promised and simplifies things for me in the bathroom. Plus I'll be able to travel with it easily. For the price I don't see how it could have done better.

This trimmer seems to be well made, has good battery life and seems to be fairly durable. It seems to be sufficiently waterproof to shave in the shower, and being able to use rechargeable/replaceable batteries is good.
I think its biggest problem is the guard. It's certainly very durable and stays where you set it, but it's made in such a way that I don't think the hair can always get in there easily, and it clogs with hair fairly easily, especially if the hair is wet. I think these two things lead to the issues folks are complaining about with it leaving beards uneven or taking many passes to work well.
Overall, a good unit.
