4 out of 5 stars Good socks   August 1, 2010

What are we supposed to write about socks? Well they are not cheaply made and they fit my feet well

5 out of 5 stars My favorite socks   July 28, 2010

Yes, they're a bit thin to be considered crew socks but they are fabulously soft on the inside even after multiple washings and the colors are perfect for anything you wear in the earth tone range. Great for when you need something more substantial than a dress sock but a little thinner than a crew. In other words, dress casual. I love these. I have 6 pair.

Whoever designed these socks is a genius.

I have found that with most casual loafers popular today, crew socks end up being too thick while dress socks end up being too thin. The result of this dilemma is a choice between the shoe fitting too tight along with sweaty feet (crew socks), or the shoe fits too loose and your foot slides around inside it, exacerbated by the lack of tackiness of most dress socks (they have that "sheen" like material that slips against the shoe), invariably resulting in blistered feet if you walk any amount of distance. These Dockers socks are the perfect compromise - thicker than a dress sock, but thinner than a crew sock. Perfect fit, cooler feet compared to a crew sock, but they protect you from rubbing and blisters unlike a dress sock.

Aside from the perfect thickness, the fit and finish of these socks is very good. They have "gold toe" style markings, so I never have trouble figuring out where my toes or heel should go. The material feels high quality. They don't get all stretched out and gross after 2 or 3 washings like some other socks I've been duped into purchasing do. They come in good color choices. They have just the right amount of elastic. I have had these socks for about 2 months now, and I have put them through rigorous tests walking many miles on two continents, in climates ranging from hot and humid tropical climates to even hotter and dry desert conditions, and they have held up well and remained comfortable. Because they are so cool and comfy, I estimate over their useful lives these socks will pay for themselves many times over simply as a result of reduced Goldbond usage.

Because of their unique intermediate thickness and high quality construction, these Dockers socks are a game changer, a disruptive technology that will render your existing socks obsolete. I now have an entire drawer full of old crew socks just sitting there unused, it almost makes me sick to look at them as it conjures up images of how sweaty and uncomfortable my feet used to get. If you do not buy these Dockers socks, I assure you that you will regret it for the rest of your life.

Not very satisfied with quality of fabric used for these socks. They did not seem to be made of cheaper material.

these socks feels very comfortable overall, much better then your top grade hanes socks. The only issue I have with them is that they are a bit big for size 8, since the heel doesnt fit perfectly.

Other then that very comfortable and durable socks.
