So I've heard horror stories of these things having next to no lifespan, so if my goes kaput in the next few months I'll update this review. That said, this thing is working exactly as advertised.
The light is indeed useful, and you can get a good look up your nostril. The actual trimming process feels a bit weird if you've never done it but is light-years ahead of the tweezers - that is, there is no pain to speak of. Note that the trimmer does not cut the hair completely: it just pares it down to the proper length, which is more than sufficient to keep hairs from poking out.
So, as it stands, if you're looking at this product, I know what problem you have - I had it too, and this thing has solved it at a very reasonable price. That's the best compliment there is for a product like this.

This thing really works. It does a great job and didn't pull or hurt. The only way I knew it was working was by hearing it doing its job. It's well worth the money. No more pulling the hairs out myself or using a razor to get to it. Remember, pay attention to your nose hair, if you don't, others will.

nice instructions with the product. Very easy to use. The light may not be very useful, atleast I did not find any use. worked well. Good for the price.

This trimmer just doesn't make the cut (hair cut that is). The light is a good idea, but it is really hard to remove hair with it.
