I have been a Philips/Norelco user for more that 40 years. For the first 25, the products kept getting better. For the last 15 I experienced shorter battery life and no improvements in shaving quality. With this razor I am encouraged that, finally, things are improving by my standards.
I am getting a good shave in about 20% less time and I can get a full week, or more, of shaves on a charge as compared to half that with my last Norelco.

I did my research and purchased this razor for my husband. He couldn't be more pleased with the close shave and the ease of cleaning. Also, it seems to hold it's charge well.

I have to take the cleaning head apart to clean so I can get a shave about twice a week. Then I have to keep the cutters separate, and reassemble the head. I am very displeased with this shaver, and would like your comments as to how to resolve this problem.

Based on the reviews, I was expecting a very good shave but that's not what I got with this razor. It's very quiet but the shave wasn't close. After using this razor, I went over my face again with a four year old Braun, with six month old blades, and still got quite a bit more stubble. Using this razor, it never felt like a close shave.
