 Crack-erjack whip! October 31, 2009

Got this whip for a cowboy costume, had it a couple weeks before Halloween and got a lot of really awesome cracks out of it! The end of the whip eventually unraveled and the cracker fell off and I had to tape it back on, but I could still get some cracks out of it. Handle got a little flimsy after a while, but I think we were putting more strain on the whip than it was originally intended for. It will eventually fall apart, but mine lasted quite a while. Great buy for the money!

I bought this as a n accessory to a Halloween costume for myself, and was surprised by the quality of the whip. It is real leather and actually very sturdy and works pretty well ... Just don't hit anyone/thing with it!

We bought this whip for my son's Halloween costume - Indiana Jones. Within 2 days of playing with it (Halloween is still 2 weeks away), the end has unraveled. My son is very unhappy. We have now taped it (how tacky). It is a good looking whip, however it is not made to be used as the end will unravel. Very disappointing.

This was the best on-line purchase we have EVER made! I still can't believe the price... it's real leather!
If you are looking for a prop for Halloween, or a fun toy for your child to go exploring, this is the purchase for you. It not only looks and feals real, but it functions as well. Sure, there is a small chance you'll get whipped (especially if your child gets a bit over zelous) but the true-to-life length actually helps prevent accidents; a small child just can't swing this thing like Indiana Jones; now, with a little practice ;-)
My son is 8 years old and we make fun of the ridiculous "sock-whip" we've seen on-line and at area toy stores. However, we can't think of a single thing to criticize about this one... except, perhaps, that we probably should have ordered two of them.
