Wasn't sure if I was ordering the right socks, but these are definitely them. These are the best socks I own -- so much so that I'm considering throwing out all the old socks and just keeping a drawer full of these guys. They are great for when I wear boots because the socks don't slide down your ankle by the end of the day, nor do they bunch up at the toe after walking some distance. The socks feel cool and dry at the end of the day and do not collect moisture from perspiration.
I definitely recommend these socks.

I looked at several different gold toe socks online and this one appeared to be the thin material. It actually ended up being the heavy thick cotton. I'm ticked.

The socks seem OK. However, they are much too tight at the top for me to wear. I have a difficult time getting socks that are not too tight at the top, but I have found some over the years that feel comfortable.
